St. Patty’s Day for Dogs

Happy St. Patty’s Day to you and your dog! Benny was sure to wear his green today – hope you remembered as well! There are a few lucky green events going on today and more fun events to come this weekend.

The Nashville Humane Association is hosting Shamrock Sweeties, a special adoption event that offers reduced adoption fees on a selection of dogs and cats. All dogs and cats with a Shamrock are the lucky animals and will be even luckier if they go home with you! And hurry up – the event ends on March 21.

Looking for a pot of gold? The Farm at Natchez Trace is offering one just for dogs! Drop by today – Wednesday March 17 – to enter The Pot of Gold Lucky Drawing for your chance to win a selection of luxury grooming prizes like the Leinster Prize which includes a Spa Weekend at The Farm. Even if you don’t win, you’re dog will leave with a special bandana and a delicious “Lucky Shamrock” treat! Also, be sure to check out the lecture series at The Farm including a talk by Raquel Wynn, author of Stretch Your Dog Healthy.

And, this Saturday, March 20 is the Nashville Lifestyles “Cover Dog Event” at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art. From 12 to 2, enjoy live music and special treats, and enter the Cover Dog Competition. The winner will be featured on the May issue of Nashville Lifestyles.
