A year ago last May, Nashville suffered a heartbreaking flood that tore through the community, damaging homes, businesses, families and lives. But in true Nashville spirit, we weren’t defeated – we recovered and reached out to one another. Since then, we’ve been able to restore much of our city and rebuild what was destroyed last spring.
To celebrate this spirit and our incredible community, the Grand Ole Opry House, which was also affected by the flood, is holding a special concert Tuesday, May 3 at the Opry House appropriately titled: Play On, Nashville! Artists on the ticket bill include Brad Paisley, Charlie Daniels Band, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and more.
But it gets even better! The Opry will donate $10 from every ticket to the Nashville Humane Society when the code NHA is used at the time of purchase. You can use the code (NHA) when calling 871-OPRY or at the Opry House Box Office. You can also buy your ticket online (the code’s even already entered for you). The donations will be put toward continuous relief efforts to help animals still struggling to recover from the flood.
We are so proud to be a part of this truly exceptional, giving community. We hope you’ll come and give to a good cause while enjoying a great event!
