French Bulldog Puppies

Hudson and Humphrey are French Bulldog puppies that are litter mates. Seriously, how adorable are they? I can’t take their ears! They’re just too cute. I want to eat them. (Surely, I’m not the only one who feels that way :). ) They are eight months old and own this beautiful couple. We met up on a gorgeous fall afternoon and were so happy to photograph in the fall foliage! Enjoy these cuties.

Adrian Hitt is a nationally recognized, award-winning dog photographer who creates modern, playful works of art. Her interest in dog photography is founded in her desire to celebrate and encourage the deep bond that develops between human and animal, parent and dog. In her free time, she photographs dogs awaiting adoption at local rescues and shelters. Her proudest moment? Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- lab mix rescue. What cuties!!! I just love those colors – gorgeous!

Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh my goodness! So freaking cute!

Benny has my heart

I’m in NYC for a dog session and a photo conference and it has been great. However, I am greatly missing this sweet face:

He came to the airport to help drop me off and seeing his sad eyes as I approached Southwest was almost enough to call off the trip. 😉  But I am here and I can’t help but share this fall photo!

Soooooo sweet!!! The colors are beautiful, and Benny is SO CUTE!

Wishing you a Halloween full of more treats than tricks!

Come enjoy the view at Nashville Paw‘s 2nd Annual Barktoberfest on Thursday, October 28 from 6-9pm. Come in costume with your pup(s) to celebrate Halloween at this fabulous rooftop fall festival at Loews-Vanderbilt Hotel! These events are always a hit! I love the skyline views, live music from Shotgun Scooter (a band who truly loves animals!), fall food, refreshing drinks, pet adoption booths and more! You will be able to trick-or-treat from booth to booth and even enter to win great prizes upon visiting all booths. Rumor has it that prizes will be awarded for: Best Canine Costume, Funniest Pet, Scariest Pet, Cutest Pet and Best People + Pet Costume Combo! Plus, we’ll have a Tricks-For-Treats contest!  Tickets are $10 at the gate and online and parking will be validated with any food or drink purchase; ask server for a validation ticket.

Have you seen these pumpkin carving stencils from Better Homes and Gardens? They have so many dog breeds! I love them! I chose the Lab since my pup, Jeffery,  has at least a pinch of Lab somewhere in there! This is the first year I am actually proud of my pumpkin and I love how the light glows through the etched out areas in this one. Oh, they are just too great!

Have a fun and safe Halloween. Trick or Treat!

Autumn Sunshine

I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house.

So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air.

NATHANIEL HAWTHORNE

Isn’t fall wonderful? I feel as though I awaken from the drought of summer each fall. There isn’t anything much better than snuggling up in my hoodie, favorite jeans and boots around a campfire with those I love. And the sun, oh the warm sun without the dreadful humidity! I could spend my entire days soaking in its goodness and gazing at the beautiful colors that fill our horizon. Fortunately, these French Bulldog puppies feel the same.:)

Gunnar – The Dog of Many Breeds

I recently photographed Gunnar and he is a hoot! 100% all dog, man’s best friend and passionate bird chaser. Caitlyn adopted him from Proverbs 12:10 animal rescue a couple of years ago – just a couple of months before Paul entered their lives. As you can see, Gunnar is a mix of all kinds of breeds. They had the dog DNA test done and I believe he is eight different breeds! He is such a sweet boy and Paul and Caitlyn are crazy about him – as he is them.

Happy Friday!
