On the Tenth Day of Christmas…

Meet Dina our Tenth Dog of Christmas! She is a little over eight months old and your typical teenage pup – full of energy, excitement, love and kisses! Dina enjoys going for walks and playing with other dogs. She’d be a great companion for an active parent or someone who is looking for an excuse to frequent the dog parks. This pup is so friendly and is wishing that someone would say, “She’s the one” in time for the holidays! You can adopt her at Nashville Humane Association and see her on Nashville Comcast OnDemand. Because she’s been at Nashville Humane for some time, she has a black tail adoption fee of only $25! She is a precious girl.

Adrian Hitt is a nationally recognized, award-winning dog photographer who creates modern, playful works of art. Her interest in dog photography is founded in her desire to celebrate and encourage the deep bond that develops between human and animal, parent and dog. In her free time, she photographs dogs awaiting adoption at local rescues and shelters. Her proudest moment? Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- lab mix rescue. Adrian lives in Nashville, Tennessee and travels nationwide to photograph America’s beloved pets.

On the Ninth Day of Christmas…

Ranger is our ninth dog of Christmas! He is a black lab mix with the most soulful eyes. I affectionately refer to him as “Ranger Danger,” but he is actually quite shy and loving. Drop by Love at First Sight to see if he is the dog for you!

On the Eighth Day of Christmas…

Our eighth dog of Christmas is very special because he is our foster dog! We got Rudy on Friday night and we are fostering him through Agape Animal Rescue. He is a pure bred Daschund and is an absolute LOVE! He loves to cuddle and his favorite thing is going on walks … even in the snow. Rudy is 3 years old and he and his brother Emmitt were scheduled to be euthanized last week at a county shelter. Fortunately, Agape Rescue was able to step in and save their lives! They have since been vaccinated and neutered and are now in foster homes awaiting their forever homes. How wonderful it would be to get them adopted before Christmas! If you know anyone who is a Daschund lover or just looking to add a dog to their family, please send them our way! If you are interested in Rudy and/or his brother Emmitt (a black Daschund) please contact Tanya at Agape at 615.406.7799.

Rudy is ready for the holidays!

Ohhhh no. I probably shouldn’t have looked at this post. We have a miniature dachshund named Bean who would love to have a brother… I just don’t think we can take him right now though :(

On the Seventh Day of Christmas…

Our seventh dog of Christmas is a Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix named Rusty! This dog is completely mellow and such a handsome fella’. Check out his paws! He won’t stay small for too long so be sure to head to Love at First Sight Pet Adoption to add this pooch to your family and get him a home by Christmas.

What a great idea this is! Thanks for doing this. :) I love this little guy. He reminds me of our first dog, Crash. Crash was a mellow guy too, from the time he was about this age and all his life. We used to say he was just born with perfect manners. We loved him so dearly.

On the Sixth Day of Christmas…

Snoopy is our sixth dog of Christmas! (I refer to him as Snoop-Doggy-Dog:)) He is a Shepherd, Lab and Boxer mix puppy. You won’t find a sweeter pup than this one! I love the pink spot on his nose. Such a sweet guy. You can adopt him from Love at First Sight Puppy Adoption in west Nashville.
