I am your dog photographer for playful, modern works of art. Woof!

French Bulldogs

You might recognize these French Bulldogs from last fall? I love when clients return for another session and it was so fun to photograph LeRoy and Stogie again. This time, we shot their session at their new home which is currently under renovation. So we ran with the “construction” theme for the entire shoot. Enjoy!

LOVE these photos!! So original and adorable. Nice work :)

Pet First Aid

Dogs have a way of getting themselves into the craziest situations. Most of these antics are great for a good laugh, but sometimes things go south and all of a sudden you have an emergency on your hands. So what do we as dog owners need to have on hand? What do we need to look for? When is it time to get to the vet? Pedigree recently sent out their Healthy Living email with a great article on Pet First Aid. Accidents happen year round and we all need to be prepared. A pet-specific first aid kit is essential.

Here is a great list of items to be certain to have accessible:
Gauze pads, gauze rolls, rolled cotton, and veterinary self-adhesive elastic wrap
Cotton swab sticks
Calamine lotion and petroleum jelly
Thermometer
Blunt-end scissors (to cut bandages or cut fur away from a wound)
Tweezers and pliers
Antibiotic cream and antiseptic solution
Extra blankets, towels, and pillows
Eyedropper
Tube socks (for slipping over an injured paw)
Transport aids, like crates and carryalls. A child’s plastic toboggan or flat piece of board can be used to carry a larger dog.

I definitely suggest giving this article a quick read. Knowledge is power! I hope you never need to use it, but at least you now know!

In addition to her work here, Cassie freelances in the local music scene, volunteers with animal rescues and enjoys being outside with her pups. She lives in Nashville and is the proud parent of Jeffery, Ittey and Banjo – two rescue dogs and one awesome orange cat!

Cats – Pet Photographer

Occasionally I get requests to photograph cats, and I happily oblige! These are the cats of the talented local artist, Arthur Kirkby. He is such a wonderful painter and I am always a fan when his work includes dogs. I photographed Ito and Nora as a Christmas surprise for his partner and they are such stunning cats. Enjoy!

English Sheepdog – Pet Photography

Garica was another Christmas surprise dog session. We had a wonderful afternoon together! His dog mom is one of the sweetest people I’ve met. Garcia is a senior English Sheepdog with a big heart. Even though he lost his sight a few years ago, he still gets around very well and I think he enjoyed the session! He’s a good looking dog.

Italian Greyhound

Nico is an Italian Greyhound and such a handsome pup! Phillip is his proud owner and so good with him. I brought my camera and Nico brought the laughs for the session. Such a funny dog! Enjoy these.

Phillip and Nico playing a favorite game. I love capturing photos that show the unique bond people have with their dogs!
