It is heartwarming to see great organizations in our community join forces to make major change for the animals here in Middle Tennessee.

To schedule an appointment through the Spay Station, please call (615) 453-2349. Do you know someone living in East Nashville’s 37207 zip code? A one-of-a-kind program has been developed through the collaborative efforts of UPAW, Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC), Metro Health Department, and Nashville Humane Association. Beginning in March and continuing for the next year, residents of 37207 will have access to free spay and neuter surgeries, rabies shots, basic vaccinations, and additional services for their pets. Yes – all for FREE to residents of this zip code with proof of residency. 37207 had the highest number of complaints to MACC in 2010 and now our community is stepping up to make positive change. In the coming months, this program will be expanding to assist 37013 and we can hope that with community support we can continue adding zip codes to the list. Please share this message with the community or forward UPAW’s recent newsletter with details.
Cheers to healthy pets and the end of pet overpopulation!
