In times of joy, all of us wished we possessed a tail we could wag.

Nashville is full of celebrities and pet lovers alike, but it’s a real treat to learn from a celebrity who is a dog expert! Cesar Milan, the man who started the Dog Whisperer phenomenon, is going to be at the Ryman Auditorium on Friday July 19th. He’ll be sharing his methods during a live demonstration with multiple dogs in order to help us humans better our relationships with our own furry friends! There will also be a Q&A session for audience members to ask their own questions. This could be a fun night out for the 2 legged people in your house! For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit the Ryman Auditorium website.

With the dog days of summer upon us, it’s nice to find some fun events where our pups can tag along! The Nashville Pet Expo is Saturday July 13th from 10a to 6p at the Nashville Fairgrounds, and will include lots of local and national vendors, including rescue groups, vets, pet boutiques and of course, those wonderful vendors who make and sell treats! The Expo features prize giveaways, discounts on immunizations, free nail trimming, and a Mega Adoption Event if you are looking to add to your family. There will also be several activities and contests, including an agility course, pet talent show, and pet costume contest. You can even volunteer if you want to help behind the scenes. The event is free and you are welcome to bring your dog along! All you have to do is go to their site, fill out the waiver stating that your dog is up to date on all immunizations, and bring it with you to enjoy the event together. You can visit the Nashville Pet Expo website or facebook page for more information.

You may remember the sweet Schnauzers we featured this spring. Their best friend, Tobi, came along for the ride and had a great time at his session! He is sweet and spunky, and was very playful during their session. Peyton and Paxton were glad to have their friend in tow. Here are a few favorites of him and his family, Lee and Lois!
