Happy New Year! Things have been quiet around here as we took some time to enjoy the holiday season. I hope your new year is off to a great start and you’re enjoying this mild weather!

Those that know me, know my favorite time of year is the month of December. The entire holiday season simply makes me giddy. I try to enjoy as many aspects of Christmas as possible. The parades, concerts, movies, music, decorations, family time and holiday cards. For our card this year, we decided to draw from our love of a favorite Christmas movie:):

Thank you for passing along our 12 Dogs of Christmas. Every year millions of dogs are needlessly euthanized. When we choose adoption, the life of that dog is saved, but so is another  by freeing up the shelter space. Warmest wishes to you and yours this holiday season!

11th Dog of Christmas

Emmett is our 11th Dog of Christmas and more than any other dog shown so far, he’d really love to be in a home for the holidays. Poor guy has been at Nashville Humane for over two months now. He is a 20 pound, black Lab mix that needs room to run. He’s such a sweet, active boy. Please pass him along to interested friends!

On the 10th day of Christmas… Meet Sita. She is a six-month-old Hound mix that weighs 35 pounds. She’s fun-sized!:)Her current home is at Nashville Humane and she’d love to be in the arms of her forever family soon. Sita’s adoption fee is $85.
