Golden Lab Mix Puppy

Meet Chopper! He is Bogey’s littermate and they are both three month old puppies. He is a Golden Lab mix with the perkiest ears! Chopper loves to play and explore the outdoors. I’m sure he’d be a great hiking buddy. He’s been at LAFS for quite a while and would love nothing more than to have a family. Visit him this weekend on Murphy Road.

Get Fit with Fido!

Agape Animal Rescue is hosting a six week program to encourage us to get out with our pups more! It’s the perfect time of year to be outside for long walks, a run or a hike. And I know my Benny has never turned me down for any of these! There are prizes for the biggest losers and you have until March 18th to weigh in. The $30 participation fee also directly benefits Agape. Time to grab that leash!:)

Dogs and Family

There is something so wonderful about growing up with pets. I have an entire album at my parent’s house that is just photos of all of our dogs and cats. And I can’t help but smile every time I look through it. One of my favorite things about photography is the power it has to freeze time. To pause moments that would otherwise be fleeting. Twenty years from now these kids can look back and remember not only how great it was to have so many siblings, but also how sweet it was to be loved by these precious dogs, Ace and Abby.

Thanks to this family for giving me the honor of capturing these memories! And for being such great sports – it was a bitter and windy 21 degrees on the day of our session … practically the only day of true winter we’ve seen all season! 😉
