When asked “Why a Poodle?” Anne Rogers Clark (the first woman to win Best inShow at Westminster) replied:

They are Labradors with college educations. After a day of retrieving, your Lab wants to curl up in front of the fireplace and take a well deserved nap. A Poodle wants to be fourth at the bridge table and tell naughty stories!

Oodles of Poodles

Daisy, Dixie and Dax are all poodles! (Well, Dax is a cockapoo with a mohawk.:)) I photographed these pups last week on a beautiful Spring day! I love dog sessions in the spring because the earth is blooming and turning green and the temperature is nice. Although, I am surprised at how warm we got last week! The low 80’s are not something we’re used to in March.  Anyway, check out these cute pooches!

Nashville Lifestyles’ Cover Dog Search 2012

If you’re in town this weekend, head over to Cheekwood on Sunday afternoon for the 4th annual Nashville Lifestyles‘ Cover Dog Search! It’s a rain or shine event from 2-4 on March 24. Advance entry for your pup is $25 and $30 for day of registration. Be sure to drop by our booth to say hello and maybe we’ll see your dog on newsstands all around Nashville!

American Bulldog + Border Collie Puppy

Here’s Allie! She is about 10 weeks old and is an American Bulldog Border Collie mix. How precious is she?! I love her little panda patch on her eye. Puppies don’t come much cuter than her! Not only is she beautiful, but she’s also incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle.
