This cute couple is owned by their English Bulldogs, Dudley and Daisy. Such an adorable dog family! One reason I love photographing dogs is all of the different breeds I encounter. Each one is different and I welcome this! Never knowing what to expect keeps things fun for me which enables fresh photos. As always, enjoy some of my favorites!

Dogs a Family Make

Today is the sixth anniversary of when the Hitt’s became the Hitt Family.:) Benny joined us and forever bettered us. We are head-over-heels for this pup! His enduring love makes my heart grow bigger with each moment and spending every day with him is one of my greatest treasures.

When Benny runs leash-free in the great outdoors, he is never freer. In this photograph, he just finished circling his favorite p-a-r-k and is on high alert for any movement. During our first couple of years as a family, we spent many lunches and afternoons here. The photo means so much to me because I know how happy this place makes him and I can relive the sweet memories.

So on Benny Day we’ll be sure to celebrate our sweet son. To have him by our sides is a wonderful gift. And I think he deserves to be pampered … doggy massage anyone? 😉

Fawn Boston Terrier

Remember this fawn Boston Terrier? Jameson is 1.5 years old and is deeply loved by his dog mom and dad. He LOVES to play, doesn’t mind being the center of attention 😉 and is simply just adorable. Enjoy these!

Pup Crawl in Hillsboro Village
This Saturday will be a fun day for you and your dog! Grab your pup and head to Hillsboro Village on Saturday, August 25th for the 2012 “Pup” Crawl!  There will be entertainment along with dining and of course some shopping. That day a portion of the proceeds will benefit Nashville Humane Association.  Activities include:
  • Adoptable NHA dogs on Teddy’s Wagon, at Hillsboro Village Auto Service
  • Microchip Clinic, 2 to 4 p.m. on ROVER, in Jackson’s parking lot
  • Live Entertainment at Jackson’s
  • $25 Haircuts for People at the Rodney Mitchell Salon from 2 to 5 p.m. (100% of proceeds benefit NHA please call for appointment: 460-7001)
  • Dog Wash at McDougal’s Chicken
  • Dog Demonstrations on Belcourt Avenue next to McDougal’s Chicken
  • Special Pet Treats (at participating merchants)
  • Pup-Friendly Patios and More!
Event is from 2 to 8 p.m.  Admission is FREE!
