Be sure to check out favorite dog photos in my portfolio, utilize our list of dog resources, find out more about everyone at Adrian Hitt Photography and drop us a line if you are interested in your own custom dog session. I am your dog photographer for playful, modern works of art. Woof!

Sheepdog

For people who know me, they know that this is my absolute favorite time of year! My tree has been up for a couple of weeks complete with presents. Christmas carols have been filling our home with warm melodies. So, I couldn’t help but share this adorable photo of Karen and her Old English Sheepdog puppy. A sweet Christmas kiss!

Adrian Hitt is a nationally recognized, award-winning dog photographer who creates modern, playful works of art. Her interest in dog photography is founded in her desire to celebrate and encourage the deep bond that develops between human and animal, parent and dog. In her free time, she photographs dogs awaiting adoption at local rescues and shelters. Her proudest moment? Spending everyday with the inspiration behind her career – Benny a charming -and perfect- black mouth cur shepherd rescue. Adrian lives in Nashville, Tennessee and travels nationwide to photograph America’s beloved pets.

Vizsla and Cocker Spaniel

Piros is a Vizsla and Lily is a chocolate Cocker Spaniel and they are loved immensely by their mom and dad. I’m in love with the first photo. Hope you enjoy these!

MTPRC 4th Annual Hay Day

This Saturday, if you’re looking to log some volunteer hours in the spirit of the season, here’s a great choice! The Middle Tennessee Pet Resource Center will be traveling around the city on Saturday December 8th from 10a to 2p to distribute hay, blankets, treats, and supplies to chained, penned, and neglected dogs. Unfortunately in Nashville, leaving a dog chained 24/7 is still legal. These pets are often without much shelter or human interaction, so MTPRC is showing them some love.

If you would like to participate here are a couple of options: 1. You can provide MTPRC with an address of a dog in need. 2. You can donate supplies such as hay, straw, blankets, dog toys, dog bowls, or houses. 3. You can volunteer your time on Saturday to help with deliveries. 4. You can donate monetarily. You can do all this by emailing hayday@mtprc.org, or by visiting their website. For more information, you can also check out their facebook page.

Bassett Hounds

Shiloh and Hunter are brother and sister and so much fun to work with. The day of their shoot, there was a Golden Retriever running around and Shiloh and Hunter made sure everyone knew there was a rogue dog on the loose! We just love their sweet Bassett Hound faces- how could you resist those eyes!?
