Our eleventh dog of Christmas is actually a pair of Chihuahuas! Sonny & Cher are two peas in a pod who rely on each other. The staff at Nashville Humane is doing their best to adopt them together since that’s all they know. If you put them on a scale, they wouldn’t even weigh 20 pounds together! They are also typical chihuahia’s who would do best in a home with older children. They are not a fan of screaming toddlers, but then again, who is? 😉 They are both nine months old and were brought to Nashville Humane because their previous owners were neglecting them. An understanding home with an owner singing “I Got You Babe” is all they really need this Christmas! Sonny & Cher’s adoption fee is $85 each.

I just love checking in to see who the next ‘pup’ of Christmas will be! Can you let us know after the holidays if all of these cuties were able to find forever homes? I would love to take one with me, but my hands are just so full with our Ally. One day…..
If we didn’t have a 1-year-old, I would snap up these pups so fast… We already have 2 Chihuahuas, and I think they’d all have a blast together. I hope they find a home soon!
