As many of you know, Nashville experienced unprecedented flooding this past weekend. It feels utterly surreal and like an unending nightmare. Fortunately, the sun has started to shine and our great city awaits the water to recede. We experienced water damage here, but are faring well compared to much of the city. (Everything to do with Adrian Hitt Photography is safe.) Due to the high waters, thousands of people and their pets have been displaced. If you are looking for places to go with your pets or even ways to help those who have been affected, check out this valuable resource by Nashville Paw. In addition, Nashville Humane Association is working with local authorities to house the evacuated animals. They currently need kennels, towels, blankets and newspapers. You may drop those items off at their facility on Oceola Avenue.
The Nashvillest has been a fantastic resource on keeping all of us up-to-date on the flood happenings. If you’re looking for ways to help and/or donate in Nashville, check out their list of resources to help flood victims.
We are closed today as we put our place back together, but everyone stay safe and stay dry! And if you are able, I know help is greatly appreciated.

Glad to hear everyone is ok at your home and studio…
Thanks for the compliment on “Rita” My adopted Standard Poodle. She too needed a new home as she liked protecting her puppies from the other poodles.. Don’t missunderstand she would have stayed in place until she was placed with the right person. My friend and I showed Std. Poodles together and she happpened to be his and I was luck enough to be the “right” person. Rita is my 4th Std. Poodle.
I would love to have a copy of this song playing “I’m a simple dog” how do I do it?? I have a page on Facebook “Katrina Palmer” I would love to post/share the plight of the flood.. if you find my page Rita is my picture and I have a folder of puppies I have rescued over the last few years.. Pepper who was my late dads dog was just diagnosed with cancer and given 2-3months.. She is the darling small blue merle mix with the button nose.. I will be documenting the journey.. between tears. thanks
PS: I commented the same question on your FB page..duh! Sorry worried and tired about Pepper.
