Dogs a Family Make

Today is the sixth anniversary of when the Hitt’s became the Hitt Family. Benny joined us and forever bettered us. We are head-over-heels for this pup! His enduring love makes my heart grow bigger with each moment and spending every day with him is one of my greatest treasures.

When Benny runs leash-free in the great outdoors, he is never freer. In this photograph, he just finished circling his favorite p-a-r-k and is on high alert for any movement. During our first couple of years as a family, we spent many lunches and afternoons here. The photo means so much to me because I know how happy this place makes him and I can relive the sweet memories.

So on Benny Day we’ll be sure to celebrate our sweet son. To have him by our sides is a wonderful gift. And I think he deserves to be pampered … doggy massage anyone? 😉
