As many of you know, Nashville experienced unprecedented flooding this past weekend. It feels utterly surreal and like an unending nightmare. Fortunately, the sun has started to shine and our great city awaits the water to recede. We experienced water damage here, but are faring well compared to much of the city. (Everything to do […]

I photographed Dolce the Pomeranian and Zoey the Border Collie mix last week here in Nashville. Zoey was brand new to Deejah and Dolce’s family, but she is adjusting so well! And what a sweet, sweet girl she is. Deejah adopted her from Nashville Humane and said that once she saw her there was no […]
I love it when Dolce grabs my arm – it’s like he’s hugging me & doesn’t want me to go!
The best pet pictures I have ever seen and Deejah looks great in green!!!!

oh just look at that 1st pic of Zoe! that’s pretty much what i saw the 1st time i met her at the shelter except she was in a tiny room… how could i leave her there?! Dolce actually gave me the deciding factor – they played so well together it would’ve broken my heart to break them apart =) since then i’m sure there have been times he’s wondered when she’s leaving, just like any sibling! but he plays his big brother (well, older brother) role well and looks out for her, and she teases him & pulls his tail!
Such a great pic of Zoe!!! The photographer really caught her personality!!
This past week I shot the cover for the upcoming travel issue of Nashville Paw. I wanted to go ahead and share one of the dogs that was photographed because she is currently looking for a home. Her name is Molly – and let me tell you, I came extremely close to just telling the […]

Glad to hear everyone is ok at your home and studio…
Thanks for the compliment on “Rita” My adopted Standard Poodle. She too needed a new home as she liked protecting her puppies from the other poodles.. Don’t missunderstand she would have stayed in place until she was placed with the right person. My friend and I showed Std. Poodles together and she happpened to be his and I was luck enough to be the “right” person. Rita is my 4th Std. Poodle.
I would love to have a copy of this song playing “I’m a simple dog” how do I do it?? I have a page on Facebook “Katrina Palmer” I would love to post/share the plight of the flood.. if you find my page Rita is my picture and I have a folder of puppies I have rescued over the last few years.. Pepper who was my late dads dog was just diagnosed with cancer and given 2-3months.. She is the darling small blue merle mix with the button nose.. I will be documenting the journey.. between tears. thanks
PS: I commented the same question on your FB page..duh! Sorry worried and tired about Pepper.
