The 4th Annual Art for Animals is a fantastic event held this Friday, February 11th at Tinney Contemporary Art Gallery in downtown Nashville. This event is not only an art show featuring art in various mediums from local artists, but also features a silent auction and live auction where these awesome works of art will be auctioned off. 100% of proceeds from the art and silent auctions will serve to host a Free Spay Day on February 26th at The Factory at Franklin at which The Spay Station (operated by New Leash On Life) will perform free surgeries from 8am – 3pm. Proceeds will also benefit Happy Tales Humane’s spay and neuter program, “Love Fixes Everything”. How great is all of this?! I LOVE it!
Advanced ticket sales are now closed; however, tickets will be available at the door for $30. Hope to see you there!
I learned these astonishing facts from Nashville Paw: Due to pet overpopulation, more than 10,000 pets are euthanized each year in Davidson County alone. Since its inception, Art for Animals has raised more than $15,000 for local spay & neuter efforts.
Thank you Nashville Paw Magazine for being such an incredible advocate for the animals and organizing these wonderful events.
While we are talking about love – I LOVE this PSA that Nashville Paw put together for Bully Breed Education and Breed Restoration. I just had to share. Go here to read more about Bully Awareness.
