Howl-O-Ween is around the corner!

Saturday is National Pit Bull Awareness Day! I love Bully smiles!   Bless the Bully’s is a great organization striving to restore the image and reputation of these great dogs. The National Pit Bull Awareness campaign is a nationwide effort to bring positive awareness and attention to the American Pit Bull Terrier and their responsible owners.

In celebration of this wonderful breed, East C.A.N is having a Free Pit Bull Neutering day sponsored by our friends at Earth Dog. The event will take place at the open field next to Bongo Java in East Nashville. Appointments are required and can be arranged by calling Jana Mandes at 615.579.7301

Let the Halloween celebrations begin! Bring your costumed dog to See Spot Eat on Saturday from 11a-5p for their 3^rd Annual Howl-o-ween Party. Festivities will include free yummy treats, goodie bags, bobbing for Hot Dogs, a mini agility course, and of course, a costume contest!

Nashville Paw Magazine is having another rooftop event at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. These are SO fun and the views are awesome! This is the 2^nd Annual Barktoberfest and it is going to be great. I’ll fill you in on more details next Wednesday but be sure to mark your calendar and get your costumes ready for you and your pup!

Cassie is the studio manager for Adrian Hitt Photography. She keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes and frequents the blog often with her tips on what’s going on in the dog world. In addition to her work here, Cassie freelances in the local music scene, volunteers with animal rescues and enjoys being outside with her pups. She lives in Nashville and is the proud parent of Jeffery, Ittey and Banjo – two rescue dogs and one awesome orange cat!
