While thinking about what to write for this blog post, I was reflecting on how much fun I had at this dog session. And then I realized that I say that a lot all of the time! It made me think about how so very fortunate I am to get to do something I love so deeply for my career. This is because of the support, trust and inspiration from you – my clients, friends, fellow colleagues and family. My clients know that we always a good time at sessions, but I want you to know that I consider it such an honor to capture your memories. You all have invited me into your private lives, homes and relationships – and how I greatly appreciate that. Dog and children’s photography fits me so well and I love the freedom you give me to challenge myself creatively. Because of the value you place on my creative process, I am able to continue in it. Thank you. I hope you know your relationship, trust and business are valued.
Meet J, T and their German Shepherds, Max and Princess. We had the most gorgeous day for our session and I loved getting to know them. J is quite the story-teller – which I loved! He kept me entertained, and if you’ve been around me much, you know I don’t mind chatting. And T is just so sweet and kind. We shot in their gorgeous, restored historic home in East Nashville that I will have to share later. For now, here is a favorite from downtown Nashville. Everyone have a safe and happy Halloween! Don’t forget to send us photos of your kids and/or dogs in costume. We have special treats for the winners!
